Extra Credit Essay

There were many times throughout the term of things i had taken pictures of.  One in particular was for my final project. That picture wouldve been a yellow dump truck. 

 

This picture wouldve been a completely different from the rest of my final project.  It was a big gigantic ugly dump truck and all the other cars were really nice.  The setting was ironic as it was a dump truck on a grassy garden type of area.  When dump trucks are usually there when a palce is getting torn up. It was really an odd spot t see a dump truck. Which wouldve made it an interesting photo.

The lighting for the picture was also perfect and it wouldve had an interesting background.  I couldve gotten all sorts of pictures form the truck as no was by it and it was just sitting there by itself.  Therefore i wouldve been able to get detail shots close ups.  If i had the time i also wouldve been able to take enough photos that i wouldve gotten at least two high quality ones.

Thats all i can write about the photo that never was.  I wish i had stopped to take its picture instead of just driving to dealerships with nice cars.

Favorite Tv Shows

All of my favorite TV shows involve action and Crime.  24  is extremly violent fast paced and full of action which is why i love it.  Burn Notice is a spy show with tons of action etc...  My other favorite show is Psych. Psych is a detective show where the main character pretends to be psychic.  Its a hilarious show which makes it even better.

What i couldve done better

SO there are many things i did wrong this term.  I fooled around on websites in class and procastinated and turned in assignments late.  What i could do better is listen to my teachers advice.  I could also make time to shoot instead of sitting around ding nothing.

Places I have lived in

So i was born in Kirkland Washington but lived in redmond a little ways away from Seattle.  I lived in Washington for 7 years until i moved to Oregon.  In Oregon lived 20 miles away from Portland in a small city named Tualatin.  I lved there till August of this year 2 months before i turned 15.  Now i live in Sandy, Utah.

My Family

So there are 7 people in my family plus our black lab King.  Only 5 of us live at home including my parents older sister and younger brother.  My other 2 siblings are at BYU.  My sisters are Ellen who is 17 and Anna who is 19.  My older bro is 22??? I dont erally know him as he just returned from his mission and then went to college.  My younger bro is um 12.  All i know about my parents age is that they are OLD.

Possible Goodbye to Waterford

Well i might be leaving waterford next term and go to Indian Hills.  Its not yet official but yeah i might be leaving waterford.

My all time favorite video game is battlefield bad company and have spent way to much time playing it.

Sports

Sports are a big part of my life and ive been playing them since 3rd grade. They are a great way to escape the pressure of life and excersize.  Ive played baseball soccer and started basketball 2 years ago.  Sports are also a great way to meet new people and friends.

Photo this term

Photo this term was extremly difficult as i hardly had time to shoot and when i did it would be to dark.  I learned that making time and using all available time is important.   I learned that you cant procastinate and need to do stuff on time and not mess around in class.

I wanted to reshoot something with a car in it because thats what i was gonna do for my final project. So i was searching through my photos and saw that this one was horrible but i thought that if i shot it in a different way it would turn out better. Well i like it better buts it not what i was hoping for and could still be done better.  I really hate the that you can see whats holding the hummer up and wish i could get rid of it somehow i tried to get rid of it but it just wouldnt go away.

Assignment 6 - Final project

My final project of cars and car parts. SO i decided to shoot cars nad stuff relating to cars because well i have always liked cars. I finally had time to shoot cause basketball season ended so on wednesday night me and mom drove around to different car dealerships and i shot picture of cars i thought were cool.  Only a few of the pictures that i took turned out ok but thats ok cause those are the ones that i like the best anyways.  Also some of the pics look alot better in color.  The pontiac with the sky above it and the dodge challenger are by far my favorite pictures.  I really like the sky in th pontiac one and in the challenger one i like th form of the car and the lighting.  The wheel is also a cool pic that looks really cool in color because of the lighting. Overall this was  fun project to shoot and thankfully i had the time to actually shoot it. Oh and thanks mom for driving me around. :)

High Key - Low Key

This is some white thing on a plate. The low key is a picture of a baseball mit and the background is my bed. I like the high key but i dont really know why but dont really like the low-key. Im not done with this assignment and still need to shoot and post and print. The picture of the hat i dont like because the blacks dont really look good.

Timothy Greenfield

I like these pictures because of their simplicity. They dont look posed and seem to capture the subjects personality. I dont like how some of them seem to be shot in a room with nothing that makes it not as interesting.
